When your equipment needs repaired or you need help with software, report your problem to the Information Technology Services’ (ITS) Help Desk by either:

If the problem cannot be resolved at the ITS Help Desk, it will be forwarded to Extension’s Office of Technology.

To help keep computers updated, our unit sends each office a DVD or jump drive with software annually. Some of the software on the DVD can be used on your home computer, while other software is licensed just for your office computer.


County Network Attached Storage (File Backup System)

Each county office received a Western Digital My Book network attached storage (NAS) device to enable all employees to backup critical files and folders on their computers. Once configured for a computer, the NAS synchronizes updates of files automatically.

It is each employee’s responsibility to keep a current copy of his/her critical files. Use the instructions in the (PDF) file below to configure your computer system with the NAS and the corresponding user manual for additional support.
